Jeff Koons is doubtless one of the most important living artists. His bold artistic statements have not only made him an international name, but have also made him one of the top selling artists of all times. “Balloon Dog (Orange)” sold for $58,405,000 at auction in November 2013, the most ever paid for a work by a living artist.

But Koons makes waves that break far beyond the world of auction houses, from his newly announced fashion collection for Louis Vuitton to his sculpture design for the city of Paris to honour victims of the 2015 terrorist attacks.

Collectors of contemporary art and lovers of Jeff Koons can now obtain a limited edition issue of porcelain “Balloon Dog” figurines that are hand-signed by the artist and available. These creations are available at one place only in Austria: at Dorotheum Galerie in Palais Dorotheum.

Trot out the balloon dogs!

Koons’s spectacular ‘Balloon Dog” sculptures have been on the forefront of the art scene since the 1980s. Made of burnished stainless steel, they have commanded some of the highest prices of his (or any other) works on the art market in international auctions. They are part of some of the most exclusive art collections in the world.

A more manageable balloon dog

Jeff Koons also made his balloon dogs in a more manageable size for collectors and fans – in metal-reinforced porcelain and in a limited edition of 2,300 per colour. Jeff Koons introduced the newest balloon dogs in magenta, yellow, and orange colour varieties in 2015/2016.
