Red, yellow, Mercedes: 2 classic cars

Two stars, a red Mercedes and a yellow Mercedes, debuted at the auction of classic cars at ClassicExpo Salzburg on 15 October 2016!

A Mercedes for the ages

The 1958 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster (estimate €950,000 – €1,250,000) was its maker’s show car and boasts three generations of German ownership, having stayed with its last owner for over 30 years.

The 300 SL is a sportscar whose elegance is beyond words. This one’s back story makes it even more compelling, and the car’s pristine condition is an inspiration to behold!

Breathtaking elegance

The 1953 Mercedes-Benz 300 S Convertible (estimate €550,000 – €700,000) was manufactured in this sensational color. It has been in Austrian ownership since 1954 and was kept by its last owner for over 50 years.

Particularly noteworthy is that it is one of only 203 convertibles made!

Today, the 300 S exudes every bit of the charm one would expect from a newly restored automobile, and more. Its elegance is breathtaking and its glamor unmatched to this day!
